Unlikely Rebel Excerpt

Here’s an excerpt from my debut release, UNLIKELY REBEL.

Out from the shadows he stepped, tall and lean with broad shoulders and eyes as dark as ink. Rebel and wanton, gentleman and rogue, traitor and fighter, people whispered that he was death and life itself. Hero and villain, lover and hater, he exemplified what every man wanted to be and what every woman simply wanted. The man stepped into the feeble pool of light provided by our lantern, the illumination pallid compared to his presence. Even the lantern seemed to shake, quaking before him.

“Release them and I’ll let you live,” he stated simply.
